Tangent GC began with garment care with the aim of taking better care of what you already own instead of just replacing it. That same approach has gradually extended into homecare and bodycare, but the approach has remained consistent – care and cleaning without unnecessary complexity.

Across the range, the products are handmade in Sweden, using natural ingredients and avoiding chemical additives. Whether it’s a dishwashing liquid, soap or hand cream, there’s a clear effort to keep things simple. Ingredients are derived from plants rather than synthetic chemicals. Products need to be effective but they also have to be gentle in use and formulations are designed to break down with much less water than comparable products. Fragrance is treated in the same way, each product has a single, light note — enough to register, but not dominate. Bottles and labels are restrained, with no excess detail or colour, making them easy to live with across different spaces.

The approach is consistent across the expanded range and the same ideas apply to all products – focus on usefulness and discard what isn’t needed.
