Products for pets are not an overlooked sector of the market but what is often overlooked is making them to the same stylish standards as other furnishings. Experience in the furniture industry meant Sebastian Zweig could improve upon the materials choices of many pet products by choosing high quality, durable and easy to clean filling materials and outer fabrics.

The Velluto dog bed is a good example of how MiaCara approaches this. It’s a simple object – soft and contained with low sides – but the details are key. The outer fabric is a soft velour – but practical – dog hairs don’t catch in the fabric so it’s easy to clean. Supportive side panels and a foam mattress hold its shape over time and provide head support for your dog. Colours are muted and sophisticated and sit easily into most spaces.
